Josh roos

Josh is a native Nebraskan, born into a pastor’s family that eventually moved to Mexico as missionaries for four years (as a result, he speaks fluent Spanish). At age nine, Josh started playing Alto Saxophone in his school band.  He played Lead roles in the Lexington High School Marching Band, Concert Band, Drumline and a select Jazz Band.  He was also an avid performer in school musicals and show choir.  Josh began Guitar at age twelve and continued through high school, college and beyond. 

 He graduated Valedictorian of Lexington High School in Nebraska and went on full scholarship to the University of Nebraska.  There he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Triple Major in Psychology, Spanish and International Studies and Minors in Political Science and Communications. He was a Regents scholar on the Deans List and served as Chaplain for his Fraternity.  He is also a graduate from the School of Ministry at Bethel Church in Redding, CA, where he met his lovely wife Liz.

Liz began playing Piano at age three.  She performed “Fur Elise” at the Manhattan School of Music at age five – the first of many concert piano performances.  She studied under world-renown Juilliard piano professor and author Lorina Havill.  Liz has performed in a variety of venues which include accompaniment to various musicals, weddings, choir accompaniment and playing with church worship bands. Her piano lessons ensure students will be educated in music theory and proper technique through a variety of music genres including Classical, Pop, Broadway and more.

In 1995, Liz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. She is a graduate of the prestigious Bethel School of Worship in Redding, CA where she studied under Paul Baloche, Jeremy Riddle, Brian & Jenn Johnson and Bethel Music.  In 2013, Liz graduated from the School of Ministry at the Vineyard Church of Laguna Niguel, CA.

Casi Kurzeja

Casi began her formal piano and vocal training at age 5 in the suburbs of Chicago.  She has studied under Ms. Flood Amory, Mary Lagere, Thomas Doody and Liz Roos. 

As the oldest of 4 siblings, she loves working with children. She is passionate about sharing the freedom and confidence that music has given her to the next generation of musicians. Her goal is to equip them with the training necessary to develop their passions and talents - whether it is to be a professional singer, worship leader or classical pianist.

When she is not teaching piano lessons, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and writing. She is a missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).  Over the years she has done youth ministry and outreaches in Australia, India, Malaysia, France, Greece, Costa Rica and Mexico. Casi attends Mountain View Church and is an active member of her community.

AARON FERRER

Aaron was born and raised right here in Mission Viejo and started his musical career with piano and voice lessons at the age of 7. He has been writing songs and playing the Ukulele, Acoustic, Bass and Electric Guitars for over a decade, and enjoys leading worship in many of the local churches. He is a graduate of the Calvary School of Worship and the United Pursuit School of Worship and is currently a student at the Berklee College of Music.

Aaron is also a Certified Fitness Trainer and a Certified Nutritionist who loves to surf and skate. He has a heart for working with the Youth and volunteers with Young Life, a nonprofit high school ministry.

John Limebrook

John is a graduate of the Saddleback College Applied Music Program and has studied under Dr. Adam Hawley, Dr. Norman Weston and Dr. Ariel Alexander. He has studied bass and guitar for over 10 years, and is a member of the Commercial Music Band at Saddleback College where he currently pursuing a Music Performance major.

 His greatest musical  influences are Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman and Jerry Garcia. Jazz, Classical and Eastern music are some of his faves.

When he isn’t teaching or playing guitar, his second favorite passion in life is cooking (namely, gumbo – yum!). A California native -  John loves hiking and enjoying the outdoors in his spare time.

Michael Phillips

- FBI & Dept. of Justice Cleared and Fingerprinted -

Native of Southern California, Michael Phillips studied classical cello performance completing degree programs from Saddleback College and San Francisco State University. Currently Mr. Phillips is residing back in his hometown of Mission Viejo, California, and is pursuing a master’s degree in cello performance at Cal State Fullerton. He has studied with high level classical musicians from the worlds of chamber, symphonic, and film music- notably cellists Laszlo Mezo, Sandy Wilson and currently Bongshin Ko.

He is excited to be at the beginning of his professional career having performed around the bay area and now in Southern California. He has gained experience working in all types of musical contexts from classical to musical theatre.

When not playing cello, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends, drawing, baseball, outdoor activities, mountain biking, hiking and going to the beach. He also enjoys learning about and discussing history, philosophy and psychology. Michael is a member of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.

Justin Daniel

- FBI & Dept. of Justice Cleared and Fingerprinted -

Sergeant Justin Daniel is a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music in Virginia Beach and has served in the Marine Corps for 8 years. He holds two Bachelor degrees in Religion and History from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

He will be completing a Masters in Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Spring 2020, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Education at Vanguard University. He is a member of the 1st Marine Division Band.

He began piano at 8 years old and has been teaching clarinet, saxophone and flute since 2007. He studied Saxophone Performance at the University of North Texas and studied jazz under Jeff Harrington and Dino Govoni at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. He has had the honor of playing for Nancy Reagan’s funeral as well at the Tournament of Roses Parades. His most notable performance was in Okinawa, Japan where he played at the world famous Budokan – where the Beatles were the first rock band to play, followed by Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton,Journey, etc..

Justin is a Montana native and a Seahawks fan. In his free time, he aims to read 100 books a year. Justin and his lovely wife CJ are members of Compass Bible Church in Aliso Viejo, CA.

Joey Spurgeon

Joey is a San Clemente native and is on staff at the local Shoreline Church as a Worship Leader for the past few years.  He is currently pursuing a B.S. in Psychology at Vanguard University after graduating from San Clemente High School. Joey is a graduate of the United Pursuit School of Worship and is currently studying music production and sound engineering at the Berklee College of Music.


Joey took private guitar lessons for close to a decade and has produced and recorded music with various local artists.  He has a God-given passion for teaching music and enjoys teaching guitar, voice and performance piano. He has been songwriting for guitar and piano as long as he can remember and enjoys teaching his students to do the same. In addition to leading worship at Shoreline Church on Sunday mornings, he plays at numerous other venues locally and Internationally.

In his free time Joey loves to camp, run and surf.

Morgan Arzich

 - FBI & Dept. of Justice Cleared and Fingerprinted -

Morgan is a Singer/Songwriter who studied under Grammy Award-winning Choral teacher Keith Hancock for 4 years. She is a Worship Leader at Shoreline Church since 2015, where she is also a Leader of the High School Ministry.  Prior to this, Morgan was a Worship Leader at Saddleback Church (main Lake Forest campus) for 4 years. She has had the privilege of singing at Carnegie Hall, Clippers Games and other renown venues.

Morgan loves being a Voice Teacher because she loves helping others use their talents to be creative and express what is on their hearts. Her extensive background in Drama and Musical Theater, combined with her knowledge of a variety musical genres, makes her a stellar vocal coach.

She is a San Clemente local who loves crafting (especially making macrames) and traveling. In her free time she loves going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

McKenna Rinke

McKenna Rinke is a California native from Laguna Hills. She is a singer/songwriter who enjoys teaching and playing the piano. She has been passionate about leading worship to children ever since her first mission trip to Nepal. Her heart to lead people to Jesus brought her to Nepal three times and also to Heidi Baker’s Iris Ministries in Mozambique.  She also serves on the prayer team at e3 Legacy Missions, an organization that she has been a part of since 2012. She has gone on several e3 legacy mission trips to Asia and South America including Cambodia, Kenya and Peru.

She is a student at Saddleback College and attends the ALTR in San Clemente, where she serves on the prayer team and kid ministry.  In her free time, McKenna enjoys playing piano, writing songs, running, hiking and roller skating. She was captain of her cross-country and track team and holds records in the 3 mile race and the 4 by mile relay.  She loves sharing the benefits of daily determination and hard work to achieve long-term goals with her students.

Kayla Delgado

Kayla Delgado is a Worship Director for Aldersgate Methodist Church in Tustin, CA. She is a Worship Leader for JesusWorldWide. Kayla was also a Worship Leader at Presence OC Church and Mission Viejo Christian Church.

She studied music at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and attended the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Kayla is a singer/songwriter who has performed on James Cheo “Unveiled Faces”and has an upcoming appearance on David & Valerie Carpenter’s new album.

In her spare time, Kayla likes to play soccer, read, write music and play the guitar, piano and cello. She is also a Fitness Trainer with United Fitness.

GRACE (hyun rhee) YUN

- FBI & Dept. of Justice Cleared and Fingerprinted -

Grace Yun started playing piano and violin at a young age and was the Concert Master at Mt. San Antonio College String Ensemble. She was also the 1st Violin Chair of the Seoul Youth Orchestra. Having a mother who is a piano teacher and a father who is a Pastor was very influential in her love of classical and worship music. Grace is currently pursuing a B.A at Biola University and loves serving on worship teams.

She loves teaching kids and adults and has vast experience playing worship and giving music lessons at the church her family planted in Seoul, Korea called “Yeh-Soo-In” (translated as “In-Jesus” and/or“Jesus’ people”). She is currently a member of Grace Ministry in Fullerton.

In her free time, Grace loves discovering new music to play, singing and playing guitar, reading, going to the beach and watching movies.
