Josh roos

Josh is a native Nebraskan, born into a pastor’s family that eventually moved to Mexico as missionaries for four years (as a result, he speaks fluent Spanish). At age nine, Josh started playing Alto Saxophone in his school band.  He played Lead roles in the Lexington High School Marching Band, Concert Band, Drumline and a select Jazz Band.  He was also an avid performer in school musicals and show choir.  Josh began Guitar at age twelve and continued through high school, college and beyond. 
 He graduated Valedictorian of Lexington High School in Nebraska and went on full scholarship to the University of Nebraska.  There he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Triple Major in Psychology, Spanish and International Studies and Minors in Political Science and Communications. He was a Regents scholar on the Deans List and served as Chaplain for his Fraternity.  He is also a graduate from the School of Ministry at Bethel Church in Redding, CA, where he met his lovely wife Liz.

Liz enjoys teaching Piano and Voice/Piano combination lessons on her brand new 2016 Yamaha C6X Concert Series 7ft. Grand Piano, Yamaha Montage Synthesizer and Roland Workstation.  Rogue NT1 Recording and Beta 87 Microphones are incorporated into a superb audio system to provide the best quality sound during lessons.  Students will be educated in music theory and proper technique through a variety of music genres including Classical, Pop, Broadway and more.
Liz began playing Piano at age three.  She performed “Fur Elise” at the Manhattan School of Music at age five – the first of many concert piano performances.  She studied under world-renown Juilliard piano professor and author Lorina Havill.  Liz has performed in a variety of venues which include accompaniment to various musicals, weddings, choir accompaniment and playing with church worship bands.
In 1995, Liz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. She is a graduate of the prestigious Bethel School of Worship in Redding, CA where she studied under Paul Baloche, Jeremy Riddle, Brian & Jenn Johnson and Bethel Music.  In 2013, Liz graduated from the School of Ministry at the Vineyard Church of Laguna Niguel, CA. 

Josh, Liz and their children are San Clemente locals who love God and their community.  Most recently, Josh and Liz taught courses on Orchestra, Composers and Rhythm at the local Casa Romantica's Annual Music Academy.  Liz served as Welcoming Chair for the Talega Mom's Club in 2005, served on the Board in 2007 and was President of the Talega Mom's Club in 2008.  They have taught music at various schools and music academies in the Orange County area.  They were both Music Academy teachers at the Blue Ribbon Capistrano Valley Christian School in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
